Burns Night Supper
After a successful Burns Night in 2023. Ross our Chef and native Scot told us to wait until you see 2024’s menu.
Well, here it is, and it looks delicious
To Start
An exquisite king prawn, lemon and pea risotto with Scotch smoked salmon, fresh Parmesan shavings and cracked black pepper.
or
Wild mushroom and kale risotto, fresh thyme and lemon, with Parmesan shavings, pea shoots and cracked black pepper. (v)
To follow
Individually wrapped Braised blade of beef topped with “Geo Cockburn’s “world famous haggis in all butter puff pastry served on bashed neeps and tatties with a Drambuie gravy.
or
Individually wrapped fire roasted neeps with “Stahly” finest vegetarian haggis in puff pastry on bashed tatties with a Drambuie vegetable jus. (V)
The sweet
Blackcurrant and bramble cobbler with oaty streusel. A pudding that cries out for a great dollop of crème fraiche or ice cream. OR, if your a Scot, both.
Three courses including coffee and tablet, which is the Scots equivalent of Fudge but much better .
